i finally got around to taking some pictures of my new sofa. it is the liam sofa, by mitchell gold + bob williams. it is makes the exact statement i was looking for, with its clean lines, lush blue velvet, and brass nailhead trim. i am completely in love.

I’m considering buying that sofa. Is that the standard “Gilmore teal” colour? The shade looks a bit different than what I was expecting.
Nope! This color is the “midnight.” The teal is a much more traditional teal and is much lighter.
I just ordered this sofa but am concerned that the material is 100% polyester. I have read that it can pill. Almost a year later, I would love to know, are you still happy with your purchase? Thanks in advance!

I still love it! No pilling. It does love to attract fuzzies, but I clean it with a lint roller and it is fine.

Yup! I love it. The cushions have held up their shape very well, and the fabric needs a good lint roll but is in great condition.
Are the nailheads definitely brass? When I saw the brass finish in store they looked very brown, but in your photo they almost look like the pewter finish. I just ordered this sofa with pewter nailheads but now I am second guessing myself!
Hmmm good question. I am pretty sure I ordered it in the brass, but it was possibly the gold. It is definitely not pewter. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful!
