i cherish every weekend i get to visit nashville, my hometown. especially when it is for a dear friend’s wedding. on this trip, i was lucky to hit up most of my favorite places.

on a recent trip home to nashville for the weekend, i hit up two of my favorite local businesses: parnassus books and beloved intimates. luckily for me (but not for my wallet) they are about two minutes away from each other.
since i think you might be tired of looking at pictures of my underwear, here is what i came home with from parnassus. as a special treat, the copy of the painter is signed!
okay, i don’t care if you are tired of looking at pictures of lingerie. i couldn’t resist. set is by lou paris.

this morning, i used my inaugural batch of strawberries from the farmer’s market to make this recipe.
can’t wait to eat it for breakfast tomorrow.

romaine lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, red onion, homemade pickles, and garlic aioli honey mustard on marbled bread.
