While at the Weekapaug Inn, we had a delightful dinner at Coast Restaurant at the Ocean House. I was especially pleased that they had a vegetarian tasting menu. It was definitely a night that I won’t soon forget.

From the left: sugar snap peas blanched in salt water; pickled red onions; grilled bell peppers (used a grill pan); romaine tossed in olive oil, salt, and pepper; 7 minute eggs, peas blanched in salt water, olive tapenade from a jar, blistered cherry tomatoes, and grilled shishito peppers.

I used up almost all the vegetables in my fridge and it was totally worth it.

Weekapaug Inn

Even though it rained during most of our stay, we spent a wonderful few days at the Weekapaug Inn in Westerly, RI. The location was beautiful, and the service was exceptional. I would go back in a heartbeat, if my wallet would allow it!
