since i just moved, i have been slowly sourcing pieces for my new place. i have some furniture from my old place, but am replacing a handful of key items.
most importantly, it is time for a grown up sofa. my old sofa was faithful, but the misshapen seats and odd beige color now look a little sad.
when i found this mitchell gold + bob williams liam sofa in a gorgeous navy with nailhead trim on sale at the outlet, i hesitated at first. i was fixated on going as neutral as possible for a sofa, because it is such a big investment. but my good friend becca assuaged my fears, reminding me that 1) navy is a neutral and 2) i can make it look classic by toning down the rest of the pieces. after putting this moodboard together, turns out she was absolutely right.
the sofa is now mine. now if i could only afford the rest of these pieces…
Ahhh can’t wait to see it in person! Miss you 🙂
LOL darn those hipsters, they just don’t know how to act. LOLWell, corntags on your second week. I’m really obsessed with crayon art. I just can’t stop staring at all that detail in such a small place. And that coffee mug is awesome!
