my work travel has been busy the last few weeks. the first stop was la, where i had the pleasure of staying at the montage. it was only one night, but a perfect way to spend it. oh and i saw pierce bosnan in the hotel cafe while i was working. such a california moment.

because there were too many good ones from this trip.

we spent 5 days during the holidays in beautiful iceland.  there were only about 4 hours of daylight each day, but wow, did those 4 hours count.  fyi, none of these photos are filtered or edited – it really did look like this.

warning:  i’m trying to clean out my camera in real time these days, so the next few posts will be greece-heavy.  these are some shots from my digital camera (not iPhone).

greece was actually more beautiful than i ever expected.

after the busy streets of santorini, we jumped on a ferry to the sleepy yet gorgeous island of folegandros.  the main town, chora, was so picturesque that i felt we were in a movie.  almost everyone we interacted with was european, and there was no cruise ship in sight.

we are in the tail end of an amazing trip in the greek isles, and  we started our way through in santorini.  the views, the food, the people, and the architecture were simply stunning.  i can see why santorini is such a popular honeymoon location, and i feel very lucky that we were able to spend 3 days there.
