i decided now would be as good a time as any to reread the harry potter books, something i haven’t done since i was a kid.  i also read the goldfinch for the first time and loved it.

my favorite by far was the people in the trees.  one of the first books in a long time that awed me, and i was truly sad when it was over.

i’m flying through books during this self isolation.  here are the next five i finished.  i sent long bright river off to a friend with two small kids – i  thought she could use an escape.

i absolutely loved the patron saint of liars.
