I haven’t taken a real work trip in years, so I found myself trying to use muscle memory when packing. I took my LV Neverfull as my personal item, and my old Rimowa as a carryon.
Overall, I think I did pretty well. I wore all the clothes I packed, but didn’t need to use my steamer or Dyson airstraight. On the plane, I wore leggings, a t-shirt, blazer (that I also wore as part of work outfits), and sneakers.

My Neverfull. The clear zip container has a LOT of snacks (for plane and the trip), and it is a bin from Maple + Lark. I was very influenced from Instagram to buy these, and I love and use them now all over the house. The pink pouch says “tech” and contains all my cords and chargers. Also included are a book, water bottle, iPad, notebook, and laptop.

One side of my carryon. The “travel” bag contains underwear, socks, an extra t-shirt, and PJs. The KBM floral pouch has makeup and hair tools/accessories. For clothes, I brought 1 navy silk dress, 1 pair of navy pants, 1 navy top, 1 white top, 1 gray cardigan, and a brownish blazer I wore on the plane.

The other side of my carryon. I have my electric toothbrush, travel steamer, Dyson Airstraight, two pairs of flats, mini umbrella, toiletry bag (clear blue bag), and emergency bag (floral bag). The toiletry bag always stays packed, which is a trick I used when I traveled much more. It has shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, deodorant, lip balm, face wash, q-tips, ear plugs, cotton pads, and various sample beauty products.

It is a bit of a ritual this time of year to wash and put away my sweaters for winter. I end up doing 2-3 sweaters at a time over the course of a few weeks, so it doesn’t feel overwhelming. First, I remove pills using this fabric shaver. Then I use this spray on any stains. I place the sweaters in mesh bags, wash on delicate with detergent, and lay flat to try on a mesh drying rack.

From this recipe. A perfect treat for a rainy Saturday.

It hasn’t been long since my last post on bedding, but in that time, both of my Parachute linen fitted sheets ripped, my flannel sheets pilled like crazy, and my Snowe home percale sheets were constantly out of stock. I decided to redo our sheet wardrobe this last year, and here is what we are currently using and loving.
Flannel set from LLBean. Winter use only but they blow my previous flannel sheets away. The flannel is sooooo soft, and no pilling after (almost) 2 years.
Printed cotton set from Biscuit Home. These are not quite cool but not quite warm, so they are perfect for using all year between the flannel and linen.
Linen set from Cultiver. We have only had these for 1 summer so it is too soon to opine on longevity. They are much softer than the Parachute linen, though, and they wash very well.
