No room is ever truly “complete,” and I know that our sitting room is not yet complete. I definitely want to have a central fixture installed in the ceiling, and a ticking stripe cushion made for the bench. Since both of those are high expense projects, I am going to “reveal” the room for now.

The sitting room now. New paint from Benjamin Moore and Farrow and Ball, and new window coverings from Everhem. This room also functions as my office, so I wanted a separate “zone” for work.

Bookcase details before and after. I painted the back wall to look like it was part of the built in, and replaced the glass shelves with wood. The color is Farrow & Ball Stone Blue No. 86.
